The Cortelyou Early Childhood Center has been serving the community for 37 years. Currently, we are looking for an Assistant Teacher that will support their lead teacher in creating a positive learning experience for our students. We currently have an immediate opening for a Toddler/Assistant Teacher to work with our two to four-year-old classrooms. The Assistant Teacher will have to be skilled in understanding young children's needs as well as working collaboratively with their lead teacher. Lastly, the Assistant Teacher will engage in continuous professional learning experiences to grow in their practice in their field.

Qualification, Skills and Knowledge Requirements

• Must love children and have experience working in a school setting

• Fluent in English, additional languages are a plus

•High School Diploma or GED required

•Working towards an associated degree in early childhood education or child-related field

• Ability to have a good working relationship with supervisors, staff, parents and outside personnel • Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks

• The teacher should be technology savvy in the different medium (email, Blog, FB, IG, etc)
